STAAD.Pro CONNECT - Backwards Compatibility with Previous Versions

I couldn't find this in the release notes or in the forum, but I just wanted to ask a couple of questions regarding backwards compatibility with STAAD.Pro CONNECT:

1. Are STAAD.Pro CONNECT versions all backwards compatible with previous CONNECT versions? For example: latest version v22.01.00.39 can open and run v21.00.02.43 files without issues.
   
   
2. Are STAAD.Pro CONNECT versions all backwards compatible with previous v8i SS5/SS6 versions? For example: latest version v22.01.00.39 can open and run SS6 v20.07.11.90 files without issues. (I tried this before as a check and I didn't encounter any issues, but just wanted to see if Bentley had any official input on this kind of compatibility).
   
   
3. Would the release notes provided during the updates specify if there were backwards compatibility issues?

I ask because we are not sure how to manage access to previous versions of STAAD when new updates come available, and whether or not we need to keep previous versions available in case there are compatibility issues with previous model files.
