Plate connections between beams in global model

Hello,

I have a connection where a HHS member is fixed to a W beam flange, see attached. In between there is a 1/2' plate. What is the best way to model this connection in STAAD PRO? I have used the offset command to align the HHS to the flange, but how do i deal with the plate?
