See attached RAM Elemencommunities.bentley.com/.../5282.Shear-Wall-2.mswcommunities.bentley.com/.../0121.Shear-Wall-2.pdft CMU module file, for inplane shear wall check. It reports that the wall has not sufficient axial capacity. Our hand calculations show that the capacity is more than 10 times that calculated by RAM, see notes on attached PDF. Also, the code section that it refers to in the report (9.2.4.1(a)) is not related to reinforced walls.
Please advise on how RAM is calculating the axial capacity of the wall.
