Hello Everyone! I am currently using STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition V22 Update 1 (22.00.00.39) for design of tapered section as per AISC 360-16. I found that there is discrepancy in the analysis results between the previous versions(STAAD earlier version with AISC 360-10 code) and this one. Can someone please explain the reason for this. Please find attached STAAD file.
In the design of member 10 for axial tension the demand is taken as 26.75 kN, but the member 10 has a different critical value for axial tension.
