I have some questions about differenc between the specification truss and start & end MY MZ release.
when it's start & end MY MZ release, it's ratio is 1.52 at beam number 237 (critical Eq. H3-8 -> shear stress)
but when it's truss, It's ratio is 0.132 at beam number 237 (safe)
both are utilization of envelope 1.
1. So, I want to know specific difference.
2. Why does vertical bracing have a critical eq. about shear.
