Every time when i run staad foundation it will shows warning which is shown in attached screenshot and after that programme will automatically closed.
Why its happend don't know? Can anybody provide me solution of this problem

Error:Exception[Access violation]Raised
Hello,sir:
When I run analysis in STAAD PRO it can't continue and the error come out as the picture attached below. This model is OK but after some beams added this error come out. And I have tried to add MEMORY 120 or adjust the NL xxx but this problem still can't be solved.

RAM SS - concrete to steel column transition
I'm trying to model a transition from concrete columns (below) to steel columns (above) that occurs between two floors (Level 4 & 5) of my building. I'm currently thinking the transition detail will occur just below the steel beam framing for the floor above (Level 5).
Options for how to model it I've considered:
- Model the concrete columns to level 5. And don't show steel columns until level 5-6. I don't like this because it doesn't include the level 5 loads in my steel column / base plate design.
- Model the steel columns supporting the floor above full height to the floor below. This is conservative for the design of the steel column because it will include the full unbraced length from level 4 to 5 for the design of the column when it reality, the steel is only about 2' below level 5.
- Should I model an extra "level" that has no floor diaphragm at the elevation of the column transition? While this might work in terms of the model looking right and possibly for the gravity design, I'm worried this might cause stability problems. I don't think these stability issues are really too significant as my plan is for the transition from concrete to steel columns to occur within a few inches of the bottom of the steel beams for level 5, so I feel it's braced well.
Is there some other way to specify the transition between stories I'm not thinking of?

Seismic load by applying notional load
Hello,
I am trying to use notional loads(ASCE7-05 Section 11.7.2) as seismic load that's why the building is assigned to Seismic Design Category A.
And I will use direct analysis method when designing the building as well.
I wonder there is no problem or not if I use notional load function in STAAD as both seismic load and direct analysis at once.
What I want to wondering is in detail as below:
For example, when using combination : 1.2D+L+E (D = dead load, L = live load, E = seismic load),
then, Notional load in STAAD = 1.2D * (0.002 + 0.01) + 1.6L * (0.002 + 0.01)
(0.002 = notional load factor in direct analysis, 0.01 = equivalent later loads in Seismic Design Category A)

Beam Result Sign Convention query
Hi all,
I have a question regarding Beam Results Sign Convention. If there are the query about this one, Please excuse if I ask again.
1. When I try to investigate the result. I noticed that in Beam End Forces Summary Tab (Beam118.jpg), the value of Mz is -1.9 kN-m.
2. When I Check in graphs (Beam118_Graphs.jpg), The Value of Mz is still -1.9 kN-m. The same convention in Beam End Forces Summary.
3. But when I check in Beam End forces All Tab (Beam118_All.jpg). The convention becomes positive.
In our calculation workflow, we normally extract values from Beam End Forces All tab as Im afraid that there will be discrepancy especially when designing Beam Reinforcement.
Please enlighten me about this one.

Section Database Missing Profiles After Update
I have updated from a previous STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition version to Version 21.03.00.146. After doing this I opened a project to find all the standard Chinese profiles missing.
When I click Specification → Database → China → Rolled Steel, I get the following:
When I click Specification → Section Database, I see the profiles:
In the folder C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Bentley\Engineering\STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition\Default\Sections, I see the file ChineseSections.db3:
I have an older install of STAAD.Pro V8i SELECTseries 6 that I can use as a workaround, but I would like to be able to use the latest version.

STAAD foundation advance calculation script issue "An error has occurred in the script on this page"
Hellow Every one,
I am facing now an Issue with the creation of the calculation sheet in STAAD foundation.
It shows errors while inserting Footings sketchs as shown in the attached image. then the calc sheet is genetated showing a blank area instead of foundation sketches.
"An error has occurred in the script on this page"
does anyone knows how to fix this issue?

Problem with the latest STAAD Connect update
After complete running the file, the software start reading the design results and suddenly STAAD disappear. opening the same file again is impossible as it freeze at reading results until it disappear. I am using Windows 10 X64. Agaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaain why you release untested update every time.

Structural Synchronizer - Updated version has virus
Hi,
When I try to upgrade Structural synchronizer to the latest version from connection Center --> Software downloads, after downloading the file, it shows "threat has been found and was deleted".
Am attaching the snap which shows it. Please check the file and rectify the problem has it has any.
